Chris Sanchez Lascurain, LCSW

About Me

As a psycho-therapist, I embody the spirit of a "Picasso of the mind," where creativity meets clinical expertise to navigate the complexities of human emotions. My approach is inspired by the innovative and unconventional thinking that Pablo Picasso brought to art, but applied to the realm of mental health.

Innovative Approach to Mental Health

Just as Picasso fragmented reality to reveal new perspectives, I help clients break down their challenges into manageable parts, fostering a deeper understanding of themselves and their emotional landscapes. Through evidence-based techniques and a commitment to cultural sensitivity, I guide individuals toward transformative insights and personal growth.

Expertise and Training

With a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Southern California, specializing in Children & Family Studies, I have honed my skills in providing psychotherapy for diverse populations. My training includes trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and certifications in Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), PEERS, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, among others.

Client-Centered Practice

I believe in adapting interventions to each client's unique strengths and needs, ensuring that our therapeutic journey is both relatable and clinically sound. My goal is to empower individuals to communicate their needs effectively, reshape negative thought patterns, and enhance their quality of life.

What Clients Say

Feedback from clients and colleagues highlights my ability to build strong relationships, provide creative and engaging therapeutic experiences, and foster positive well-being and development.
